The Area Covered
From my base in Branscombe I aim to link the Jurassic Coast from Budleigh Salterton to Lyme Regis, encompassing all the small towns and villages on the way.
The Business
I am a fully licensed Hackney Carriage driver which allows me the flexibility to provide an all round service.
Karen’s Cars was launched in the summer of 2015, due to the overwhelming need for a taxi service in this remote area of East Devon where public transport is limited. The business has grown steadily since.
The Taxi
Karen’s Cars operates one car at present.
My car is valeted every day giving a corporate feel.
The Dacia Jogger Hybrid Extreme is licensed to carry six passengers. It offers a comfortable interior space. The front seat is adjustable giving extra leg room. Two out of the three middle seats come with iso fix settings as standard and it has excellent accessibility in the third row with two individual full seats. Good boot capacity caters for four passengers with luggage.

This amazing lady is an inspiration to me. Not only because she set-up a much needed taxi service in Branscombe, but she is prompt, uber professional, super friendly and incredibly fair. If anyone has anything other to offer than positive feedback, I will personally fight them till the death! 🙂 She has been there in times when I had a serious emergency (I do not have transport).
